Join our team: we are hiring a core maker in Boone County, Missouri. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On a typical shift you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring.
