Wet plasterer — Mecklenburg County

Now hiring: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. You will work at a new-build housing development. You should have: • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish Day-to-day duties: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Check walls for plumb and level as you go Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
