Skimming plasterer • Northampton County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Day to day you will set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; check walls for plumb and level as you go; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat. You should have: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Meals and transport allowance provided.
