Urgent requirement: moulder (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a moulder in Clark County, Indiana. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 5+ years on the tools preferred.
