Auto painter wanted in Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an auto painter in Jackson County, Alabama. The job is in a car refinishing workshop. Ideal candidate: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE Day to day you will compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience.
