We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Marshall County, Kansas. You will work in a chemical processing unit. What we are looking for: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Day to day you will carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements.
