Immediate opening: blocklayer (Northern Ireland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Antrim and Newtownabbey, Northern Ireland. The job is on a commercial construction site. Day to day you will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Part-time with flexible hours.
