Gantry crane operator — Quitman County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Quitman County, Mississippi. Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
