Vacancy available: falsework carpenter (Louisiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in De Soto Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
