Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On a typical shift you will checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser.
