Fabricator-welder — Louisa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Louisa County, Virginia. You will be based on a structural steel site. You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits.
