Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Teton County, Idaho. You will be based in a warehouse and logistics yard. The role involves verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
