Vacancy available: general labourer (Bauchi State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a general labourer in Shira, Bauchi State. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. What we are looking for: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker On the job you will handle: • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
