Immediate opening: we are hiring a metal caster in Newton County, Arkansas. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
