Urgent requirement: fire and safety officer (South Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Turner County, South Dakota. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. You should have: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
