Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. You will work at a car service centre. Day to day you will balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of workshop health and safety • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
