System scaffolder — Scurry County

Join our team: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Scurry County, Texas. You will be based at a shipyard. Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards Day-to-day duties: • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors Meals and transport allowance provided.
