Structural MIG welder • Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania

Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. You will work at a busy production line. On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $23 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
