Fabricator-welder — Fannin County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Fannin County, Georgia. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime Six days a week, one day off.
