Kitchen steward — San Juan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a kitchen steward in San Juan County, Washington. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. The role involves: • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature What we are looking for: • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred 3+ years on the tools preferred.
