Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Vernon County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 6+ years on the tools preferred.
