Finishing presser wanted in Stephens County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a finishing presser in Stephens County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 2+ years on the tools preferred.
