We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Forrest County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Your main tasks: • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
