Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in McKean County, Pennsylvania. On the job you will handle: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers You should have: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
