Bricklayer wanted in Vale of Glamorgan

Now hiring: we are hiring a bricklayer in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. You should have: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets You will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. We offer £3,150 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
