TIG welder wanted in Scott County

Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Scott County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
