Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Clay County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Share your details and we will call you back.
