Vertical milling machine operator • Cumberland County, Pennsylvania

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Your main tasks: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Full-time with occasional weekends.
