We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Cherokee County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work The role involves cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw.
