Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Ulster County, New York. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. The role involves: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
