Join our team: hoist operator (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in White County, Tennessee. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Six days a week, one day off.
