Urgent requirement: QC inspector (New York)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a QC inspector in Essex County, New York. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings. You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Part-time with flexible hours. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
