Retail butcher wanted in Assumption Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a busy retail butcher's shop. On a typical shift you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder. Requirements: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
