UPVC window fitter — Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area

Vacancy available: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings You will fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
