Join our team: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Greenville County, South Carolina. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
