Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Bristol County, Rhode Island. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
