Sand plant operator wanted in Henderson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Henderson County, North Carolina. Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Six days a week, one day off.
