Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Worth County, Georgia. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety We offer $27 per hour plus benefits.
