Urgent requirement: punch press operator (Texas)

Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Gillespie County, Texas. You will be based at an auto components factory. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting Rotating shifts.
