Now hiring: vertical transportation technician (Colorado)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Montezuma County, Colorado. The role involves: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics We offer $16 per hour plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
