Immediate opening: vertical milling machine operator (Indiana)

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Clark County, Indiana. The job is in a toolroom. You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed 3+ years on the tools preferred.
