Join our team: elevator repair technician (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Fayette County, Kentucky. You will work in a machine room on the rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
