Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Winneshiek County

Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Winneshiek County, Iowa. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. You will read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
