Health and safety supervisor • Huron County, Michigan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Huron County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height Full-time with occasional weekends.
