Core maker — Lincoln County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Lincoln County, Idaho. You will work on the moulding line. Your main tasks: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
