Scaffolding supervisor wanted in North Ayrshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in North Ayrshire, Scotland. You will be based on a busy construction site. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Day-to-day duties: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level Full-time with occasional weekends.
