Mobile crane operator wanted in Petersburg Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. On a typical shift you will keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. Requirements: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Part-time with flexible hours.
