Metal caster — Crawford County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal caster in Crawford County, Arkansas. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Six days a week, one day off.
