Argon welding operator — Wichita County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Wichita County, Kansas. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. The role involves: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Six days a week, one day off.
