Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Harrison County, Mississippi. You will work on a structural steel site. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
